BANQUET ROOM INFORMATION
Booking an evening event at Casa Loma assures you the exclusive use of all three function rooms on the main floor.
The Great Hall, The Library, and The Conservatory each have a unique charm and architectural design, providing an atmosphere unrivalled by any other facility in the city.
The elegance of Casa Loma begins in The Great Hall, with its impressive 60-foot high oak beamed ceiling and 40-foot bay window.
Adjacent to The Great Hall is The Library. Warm wood paneling, an ornately-plastered ceiling and an intricately patterned oak floor make The Library an inviting and attractive room for a variety of dinners and/or dances, receptions and meetings.
The Conservatory captures the beauty of a Mediterranean courtyard, with marble floors and ferneries filled with lush green plants. The room is lined with large gothic-style leaded windows and the focal point is an Italian stained glass dome in the ceiling. In addition to dinners and receptions, The Conservatory is the perfect setting for wedding ceremonies.

CURRENT EVENING RENTAL RATE FOR ALL THREE ROOMS IS:
Monday-Thursday - $3,000.00
Friday-Sunday - $3,500.00
*additional rental rate on a Statutory Holiday is $500.00
Additional charges may apply when special requirements are requested and/or the function is held on a statutory holiday.
The rental rate includes the use of the existing tables and chairs for functions.
Discounts Available on the Room Rental Charge
Casa Loma is pleased to offer a charitable function discount. Casa Loma also offers discounts during the off-season or for last minute bookings. Contact the Casa Loma Events Department for further information.
Evening Wedding Ceremonies: Morning Wedding Ceremonies and/or Breakfast Functions may take place on the main floor.
In addition to your reception, we are pleased to hold evening wedding ceremonies in our Conservatory. An additional rental charge of $500.00 will apply. Wedding Ceremonies in the Conservatory seat up to 180 persons.
(Must conclude by 10:00 a.m.) The rental rate is $700.00.

Should you wish the 2nd and 3rd floors to be accessible to your guests to view during cocktails, there would be an additional surcharge fee of $3.75 per person applicable. To be arranged with the Casa Loma Events Department prior to the function.
Casa Loma's baby grand piano is available for rental at $75.00. To be arranged with the Casa Loma Events Department prior to the date of the function.
Wheelchair Ramp is available for the Conservatory upon request. Must be reserved in advance.
Bridal Change Room and Safe
A Bridal Change Room is located on the main floor. Contact the Casa Loma Events Department for further information. Use of the Bridal Change Room is to be arranged with the Casa Loma Events Department prior to the date of the function. A complimentary safe is available in the Bridal Change Room, to be arranged with the Casa Loma Events Department prior to the date of the function.
The City of Toronto is undertaking a phased exterior restoration of the castle and stables over the next few years. Contact the Casa Loma Events Department for further information.
The Catering Package is subject to change without notice.
A deposit and signed contract are required upon booking to reserve any of our facilities for a function. Three months after the original booking, or three months prior to the date of the function, whichever is earlier, we require a further deposit. If a function is booked less than three months prior to the date of the function, the full deposit and signed contract are required upon booking. Contact the Events Department for further information.
Rental rates are refundable if notification is received in writing at least three months prior to the function. A cancellation fee will be charged (subject to applicable taxes.). The cancellation fee is 50% of the 1st deposit received by Casa Loma. If the function is cancelled less than three months prior to the date of the function, all monies received by Casa Loma, including the deposit, will be forfeited.
Payment policy and cancellation fees are different for daytime functions. Contact the Casa Loma Events Department for further information.

Any remaining amounts due to Casa Loma must be paid one week prior to the date of the function.
All final payments due to Casa Loma are to be made by certified cheque, money order, cash, credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) or debit card. Functions cannot take place without the final payment, the entire rental rate, the security deposit and duly signed contract.
There is a Pegasus Hospitality Group minimum food and beverage requirement based on a number of factors (i.e. time of year, day of week, number of guests, etc...) Contact the Casa Loma Events Department for further information.
SOCAN(Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada)
Tariff No. 8 Licence fee
All functions are subject to the SOCAN fee when live and/or taped music is provided.
Tariff No. 5.B Licence fee
All functions are subject to the RE:Sound fee when recorded music is provided.
TAXES AND GRATUITIES
All functions are subject to applicable taxes.(Contact the Casa Loma Events Department for more information on allocation of taxes.) Contact the exclusive caterer to discuss their gratuities and taxes.
LATE STAY CHARGE
Evening functions may take place between 6:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. All entertainment must be completed by 1:00 a.m. and bars close at 1:00 a.m. sharp. Given Casa Loma's residential location and due to the arrangement with the City of Toronto, the premises must be vacated by 1:30 a.m. or a late-stay charge of $500.00 for each additional fifteen minutes will be incurred. Service contractor's and caterer's breakdown must be completed by 2:00 a.m., otherwise the late stay charge will be incurred. All items must be removed from Casa Loma at the conclusion of functions.
Casa Loma reserves the right to inspect and control all private functions. Liability for damages to the premises will be charged accordingly. Casa Loma cannot assume responsibility for personal property and equipment brought onto the premises.
Casa Loma is a historical landmark, and its preservation is in the public interest, therefore the following conditions are reasonable.
We request that all guests refrain from the use of confetti inside the building or on the grounds of Casa Loma. A cleaning charge of $200.00 will apply if confetti is used, or if extra cleaning, beyond the norm, is required by Casa Loma cleaners.
Casa Loma does not permit the use of any open flames (including votive candles and tealights), dry ice, smoke machines, helium balloons or aisle runners. Casa Loma is a non-smoking venue. Any decorating or set up requires the final approval of the Casa Loma Events Department prior to the date of the function.
As one of Toronto's premier heritage sites, a standard security deposit is required one month prior to the date of the function. Contact the Casa Loma Events Department for further information.
The security deposit will be applied against any charges arising out of the actual function, such as damages to the premises, late stay fees, and any other unpaid fees. Following the function, all unretained portions of the security deposit will be returned.
BAR/BAT MITZVAH SECURITY
Additional security is required for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. Casa Loma will book the security required. The additional cost is $200.00 per 35 children.
